We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our four-month pilot with the Yarkon River Authority, marking a major milestone in real-time water quality monitoring.

Using DataPond’s AI-powered PathoWatch platform, the pilot achieved ~90% accuracy in detecting microbial contamination — transforming how river health is monitored and managed.

The pilot was carried out between April and August 2025 across eight sampling points along the Yarkon River. Each point included measurements with standard sensors (DO, EC, Temperature, Turbidity) and lab-based bacterial tests for fecal coliforms for comparison. . In total, 470 tests were performed to validate and refine model predictions.

This innovation enables authorities to shift from reactive testing to proactive prevention, keeping the river safer for recreation, ecosystems, and public health.

We’re proud of this achievement and grateful to the Yarkon River Authority for their partnership and forward-thinking approach. Together, we’re proving that AI-driven, scalable water intelligence can redefine how we protect our most vital natural resource — water.
